The story
Jon Durrant has dedicated more than three decades to combat sports as a professional fighter, world champion, coach, cornerman, promoter and gym owner. Over more than 75 professional fights he won multiple British, Commonwealth and European titles before becoming ISKA Light Heavyweight World Champion, facing elite opposition around the world across many styles, disciplines and rule sets.
He later became a defining figure in London’s fight scene through the renowned Durrant’s Gym, an uncompromising training environment that produced champion after champion and reflected his exacting standards.
Today he coaches fighters at every level, including UFC heavyweight Louie “The Vanilla Gorilla” Sutherland, the former Levels Fight League Heavyweight Champion who won his first UFC fight by unanimous decision over Tai Tuivasa. Jon founded Marbella Combat Club and leads its fight camps.

Louie is coached by Jon Durrant, who walks him out and works his corner. The former Levels Fight League Heavyweight Champion earned his first UFC win with a unanimous decision over Tai Tuivasa at UFC Perth.
